Summary – 1 STC Jabalpur Centre Relation Bharti – Indian Army Corps of Signals is a corps and an arm of the Indian Army, which handles its military communications. It was formed on 15 February 1911 as a separate entity under Lieutenant Colonel S H Powell, and went on to make important contributions to World War I and World War II. The corps celebrated its 100-year anniversary of its raising on 15 February 2010.

The first Signals units, were raised at Fatehgarh in present-day Uttar Pradesh. Lieutenant Colonel SH Powell, Royal Engineers, was the founder and first head of the Indian Signal Service, which later became the Indian Signal Corps. Until then, the Sappers which were part of the Indian Army Corps of Engineers that was established in 1777, were in charge of passing battlefield messages. Subsequently, the 33rd and 34th Divisional Signal Companies were raised at Ahmednagar, along with the nucleus of the 41st Wireless Squadron at Roorkee on March 1, 1911.

GD – Class 10th/ Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For Boards following grading sys minimum of D Grade (33-40) in individual subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.
Technical – 10+2 / Intermediate exam pass in science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with min 50% marks in aggregate and min 40% mks in each subject.
NA/ VET – 10+2 / Intermediate exam pass in science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Zoology, and English with min with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.

Medical Test Criteria:
(a) As per laid down medical standards at the 1 STC Jabalpur Relation Rally Bharti site.
(b) Unfit candidates will be referred to MH/ CH/ BH for specialist review. Candidates referred for specialist review should present themselves to the nominated MH/ CH/ BH within 14 days of the referral and report back to ARO/RO (HQ) for issue of Admit Card for CEE in case declared FIT.
1 STC Jabalpur Relation Bharti Rally – Written Test:
(a) Will be conducted for medically fit candidates at nominated venue. The location, date, and time of written test will be intimated at rally site / through CEE Admit Cards.
(b) Admit card for the CEE for the Rally Fit candidates will be issued at Rally Site itself.
(c) Admit card for the CEE for the Review Fit cases will be issued after getting medically fit by concerned specialist / specialists at MH/ CH/ BH.
