Summary – 1EME Centre Secunderabad Bharti – The British Army formed the Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) on 1 October 1942, in order to put the responsibilities of repairing and maintaining all British Army equipment under one unit. Previously, this was done by different corps like the Royal Army Ordnance Corps, the Corps of Royal Engineers, and the Royal Army Service Corps.
Soon, the need for an equivalent of the REME was felt in the British Indian Army too. Accordingly, the Commander-in-Chief of British forces approved the raising of the Indian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (IEME). On 1 May 1943, the Mechanical Engineering Directorate at General Headquarters was formed and units were allocated. On 15 October 1943, the actual transfer of personnel from the Indian Army Ordnance Corps (IAOC) to IEME took place.
Eligible candidates, who aspire to join the Indian Army are required to attend 1EME Centre Secunderabad Bharti Rally after carefully reading the advertisement regarding the selection process, eligibility criteria, online submit processes, payment of prescribed application fee, issuance of call letters, etc.
Interested and eligible candidates can participate in 1EME Centre Secunderabad Bharti. The rally will be for field personnel including warfare personnel/ sons of ex-servicemen/ soldiers and brothers of soldiers/ ex-servicemen.

1EME Centre Secunderabad Bharti Rally – Education Qualification:
GD – Class 10th/ Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For Boards following grading sys minimum of D Grade (33-40) in individual subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.
Technical – 10+2 / Intermediate exam pass in science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with min 50% marks in aggregate and min 40% mks in each subject.
NA/ VET – 10+2 / Intermediate exam pass in science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Zoology, and English with min with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
Clerk/ SKT – 10+2 / Intermediate exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and min 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.
Sol Tdn 10th Pass – Candidates should have passed 10th class. No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
Sol Tdn 8th Pass – Class 8th simple pass (For System, House Keeper & Mess Keeper). (ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.

1EME Centre Secunderabad Bharti Rally Programme – 2020-21
Medical Test Criteria:
(a) As per laid down medical standards at the 1EME Centre Secunderabad Bharti Rally site.
(b) Unfit candidates will be referred to MH/ CH/ BH for specialist review. Candidates referred for specialist review should present themselves to the nominated MH/ CH/ BH within 14 days of the referral and report back to ARO/RO (HQ) for issue of Admit Card for CEE in case declared FIT.
1EME Centre Secunderabad Bharti Rally – Written Test:
(a) Will be conducted for medically fit candidates at nominated venue. The location, date, and time of written test will be intimated at rally site / through CEE Admit Cards.
(b) Admit card for the CEE for the Rally Fit candidates will be issued at Rally Site itself.
(c) Admit card for the CEE for the Review Fit cases will be issued after getting medically fit by concerned specialist / specialists at MH/ CH/ BH.
EME Centre Secunderabad Bhai Bhand Bharti – Required Documents:
As per the program, candidates are advised to bring the following documents in original on the day of 1EME Centre Secunderabad Bharti.
Documents must be properly arranged in a sequence and included in a file cover containing a set of photostat copies, photocopied in English by each gazetted officer with their name and seal. | Special Instruction COVID-19:- All candidates will produce a covid-19 free/asymptomatic certificate and no risk certificate as per Appendix ‘c’ and ‘d’ respectively. An asymptomatic certificate should have been issued within 72hrs prior to the rally reporting day.
All candidates will be thermally screened at the rally site. Candidates having temperatures/ showing symptoms will be directed to report again on a designated day for such cases.
